AFP Interactives Dog Sokudo Puzzle Toy Starter

The AFP Interactives Dog Sokudo Puzzle Toy Starter is a snack-search puzzle that asks your dog to lift or slide parts to reach rewards. It is built around hidden trays, so you load the game by lifting some parts, placing snacks inside, and then putting the parts back before your dog begins searching. The puzzle also gives you a simple way to make the game easier by leaving out several parts at the start.

How the puzzle opens the reward search

Your dog works the toy by lifting or sliding the parts that cover the snack trays. That makes the reward available only after the pieces are moved, so the game is about searching rather than a straight treat release.

Because the puzzle encourages that search behavior, it taps into natural instincts and adds a boredom-fighting activity to ordinary snack time.

Setting the challenge

To start the game, lift some parts and place snacks in the trays, then replace the parts before offering it to your dog. If you want a simpler first session, leave out several parts so there are fewer pieces to move.

The difficulty can be adjusted, and with fewer parts in place your dog can move and lift the pieces faster.
