Eat Slow Live Longer Lick Mat Dimensions Rectangle

This square lick mat combines four textured patterns with deep compartments to create a surface food is worked out of rather than simply lifted from. It uses suction cups underneath to attach to a smooth surface.

How the surface works

The mat’s nubs, circles, waves and honeycomb sections give food plenty of edges and corners to sit in. That means the spread sits across multiple reliefs instead of one flat layer, and the lower areas help keep ingredients tucked into the surface.

Pate or wet food can be spread on the mat, and kibble or treats can also be sprinkled over it. Those feeding options suit the textured layout well because they let the food settle into the compartments before it is licked away.

Mounting and care

For setup, place the mat on a smooth surface and press it down so the suction cups attach. The suction cups are on the bottom, so the mat is designed to grip the surface beneath it rather than sit loose.

It is made from 100% silicone and can go in the dishwasher. The mat can also be frozen with some treats for a cooling serve, which adds another preparation option without changing the textured surface itself.
